New Ocean Chinese Restaurant: Authentic Chinese Cuisine in Santa Maria, CA

As we support the local business owners, we’ve dine in at this place at least every other weekend. For the last 4+ years, this place has been one of our go-to place to eat. Vegetables dishes and the house wonton soup are our favorites dishes. As I can’t speak on behalf of other dishes, the vegetables stir fried is not too greasy and serve with perfectly cooked vegetables. As you wish I think you can ask to request the dish a bit spicy . Last of all, we appreciate the ice water serves in a glass instead of in a cheap plastic cup. Service is fairly quick.

My office ordered lunch from here today, and both the food and their customer service is outstanding! I have the Orange chicken lunch special and it comes with an egg roll, soup AND a huge portion of fried rice! It is delicious but not too greasy as a lot of American Chinese food is. It is a great value for the price and will be part of my dinner as well! There was a communication error and the Pot Stickers I ordered were not rung up. When I called about it I didn't fully understand that I wasn't being charged for it and was grumpy (hangry) for a moment on the phone trying to understand. They promptly brought the order of pot stickers, free of charge. That was an incredibly courteous thing to do, especially when I certainly did not deserve it. I apologize for me hungry induced frustration and Thank you for your patience and great customer service, we will be ordering more often! EDIT: You MUST try the Pot Stickers! They are nearly the size of my fist and they are so obviously fresh and home made. It's another large portion and they are very tasty!

Good quality food, portions, and prices. I recommend going during the lunch hour for the discount

This is I believe the best Chinese food place in Santa Maria. Generous portions and all the dishes are excellent. Personal favorites for me are the salt and pepper. Fish, sesame chicken, and tea smoked duck. Spacious restaurant for large sit down parties and they're pretty quick with to go orders as well. Oh the staff is also very nice to you, but doesn't try to talk to you a lot which can be seen as a good thing sometimes.

What a beautiful restaurant with awesome helpers and great food! I really love everything about New Ocean. The inside is decorated with precision and they even have the infinity mirror effect. I had a very enjoyable time with great company. The ambiance and sound levels are great too. My food was as beautiful as it was tasty. New Ocean is a must for anyone wanting to have a great experience and the prices are more than fair. Thank you all for everything!

This place is great they bring my food fast and it's delicious.we always leave tips make sure you do to! Trust me it's worth it! Every one is so nice and generous!I'm a regular customer so you know it good when I come here every week or so.

Honestly delicious food, huge portion sizes and the staff are super sweet down to earth people. This has been mine and my wife's favorite spot. The pick up service is super quick, the dine in is prompt and attentive and we always take home leftovers. She Swears by the Hunan Tofu on the spicy side and you can never go wrong with shrimp fried rice.
